The turning point for talk show host and film producer Pete Allman, was celebrating his 71st birthday, and celebrating it through testimonies from celebrities on how God helped them weather the storm in the film business.
Theresa Lin, known for her food styling on Ang Lee’s “Eat,Drink Men Woman,” and catering director for “Life of Pi,” said she was catholic and she prays.
“Success comes to people who study hard,” she says. Lin was co-hosting Allman’s show and some interesting points on how celebrities enjoyed their life off the screen.
Malika Blessing, known for “Tammi Mac’s Bag Lady,” “Lost Souls Cafe,” and “Grim Weaver,” was very frank in speaking how things we ask for are in Gods time, not ours.
Jeff Rector, Director of the International Burbank Film Festival, who sold his first “Fatal Kiss,” to HBO, attends Bel Air Church, and was adamant on how through faith in Christ, will get you through any setback.
Gino Montesinos, known for “Poor Boy,” “Animal Kingdom,” and “Fallin Angel” is giving credit through envisioning his steps to becoming successful in acting and film making. He says that God gives him the talent to do so.

Dame Munni Irone, the producer of the “Arts For Peace Awards,” says, “My heart to yours, love and peace.” Dame Munni meditates and serves God through helping the homeless. Her advice for peace is to “stay silent and connect.”

Mr. Allman, whose show “Messages with Pete Allman,” broadcasts Saturdays at 12 pm on Open-door Communication Network, thanks Bishop Ogamba and Jack Barrett, the producer for their efforts in uplifting the word of the Lord.
