The news was “confirmed” by People via a statement from Brad’s manager, who also said that their children “are very happy,” but a wedding date is yet to be set. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are finally making it official.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie first met during production of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the action-comedy where they played the titular married assassins. Brad was still married to Jennifer Aniston at the time. Rumored reports began surfacing of a relationship between him and Angelina, and after Brad’s split from Jennifer, many believed that Angelina broke up whom everyone thought was one of Hollywood’s “golden couples.”
Still, Mr. and Mrs. Smith was a box office hit when it opened in 2005, and Brangelina was born: the sexy globe-trotting, philanthropic Hollywood supercouple with their children Maddox (10), Pax (8), Zahara (7), Shiloh (5), and twins Knox and Vivienne (3).
This will be the third marriage for Angelina, who was previously married to her Hackers co-star Jonny Lee Miller, and her Pushing Tin co-star Billy Bob Thornton.
