The Bridge of Deaths Book Review

‘The Bridge Of Deaths’ is a combination of historical facts and fiction. It takes you on a journey with the author. It’s the story of Egan looking into a plane crash that claimed the life of her grandfather and four others. She always thought the plane crash and circumstances surrounding it did not add up. She believed there was foul play. She retells her all of her thoughts on this in very detailed accounts of all the files she has collected up over the years, with all the research she has done.

She also added in a nice bit of fiction with the characters Bill and Maggie. Bill’s character is a very interesting twist to this story and Maggie is a nice companion to Egan’s character in the story. Being someone she can tell her theories to and share all her information she has collected with.

Overall I really enjoyed this book. The tale of the plane crash and of her grandfather’s life is intriguing. Even though this is not my typical read I did get really into the storyline. You could tell Egan put a lot of hard work and heart into this book and it shows. I have nothing but admiration for Egan. I think she did a wonderful job with this novel and I can’t wait to read more of her work.
