Amazon, the online bookseller known to sell numerous works that entail stolen images, copyright infringement, and the like, lacks some of the safeguards like professional fact checking that an established, respected brick and mortar publisher may have. They let unedited books from self publisher sites creep on their domains for example, where anything goes. But it has proven this week that what they lack in professional conduct, they failed at even worse in the department of ethics and sanity.
Amazon’s Kindle store sold a book called The Pedophile’s Guide to Love and Pleasure, and their reaction to public outrage was similarly appalling.
The book’s author, who admits he MIGHT have had sex with children, states: “This is my attempt to make pedophile situations safer for those juveniles that find themselves involved in them, by establishing certain rules for these adults to follow. I hope to achieve this by appealing to the better nature of pedosexuals, with hope that their doing so will result in less hatred and perhaps lighter sentences should they ever be caught.”
This deranged slime said he’s tired of people vilifying pedophiles. “I wrote the book because I felt that some people were being demonized unfairly,” explained Greaves. In the book, Greaves allegedly explains what he calls A Child Lover’s Code of Conduct: guiding principles to a sexual relationship between an adult and a child. “To tell you the truth, I don’t think that it’s always bad for the child…But I do think it’s always confining for the adult.” He adds.
This low life scum, who promotes sex with children, instead of getting yanked by Amazon immediately, got the defense of Amazon, despite hundreds of enraged reviews. Amazon’s response to peddling pedophile guides was the following:
“As a retailer, our goal is to provide customers with the broadest selection possible so they can find, discover, and buy any item they might be seeking. That selection includes some items which many people may find objectionable. Therefore, the items offered on our website represent a wide spectrum of opinions on a variety of topics. Let me assure you that Amazon.com does not support or promote hatred or criminal acts; we do support the right of every individual to make their own purchasing decisions. Amazon.com believes it is censorship not to sell certain titles because we believe their message is objectionable. Therefore, we’ll continue to make controversial works available in the United States and everywhere else, except where they’re prohibited by law. We also allow readers, authors, and publishers to express their views freely about these titles and other products we offer on our website. However, Amazon.com doesn’t endorse opinions expressed by individual authors, musical artists, or filmmakers.”
So, under the guise of freedom, Amazon.com, headed, by CEO Jeffrey Preston Bozos, promotes and pushes the sick, child rape meanderings of a lunatic, of having sex with children under the age of consent, you know, those that there are laws prohibiting having sex with, boys and girls whose brains are not fully developed to cognize with full rationality. Amazon’s stock thankfully took a beating due their stupid, sick, bozo actions, and supposedly, at current press time, yanked the title, although the so called author, who police are currently investigating, thinks they will put it back up.
Borders, and Barnes and Noble are reportedly now also carrying similar pedophile crap with books that suggest that every adult should have sex with children. What kind of sick, cracked out people are running these companies?!
One person’s freedom ceases to be freedom, and becomes a coercive action, when that freedom turns in to violating the rights of another person’s freedom. When that occurs, then it is no longer freedom, it is coercion, and a violation of another’s freedom. While speech and text is not a physical act, it promotes physical actions. And while freedom of speech should exist, including the right to so called hate speech (if for no other reason than to know where these lunatics are coming from), or create unpopular or shocking or offensive writing, an ethical and sane society does not have to give a platform and a voice to amplify it, and profit off of it at the expense of innocent children.
The fact that these major multi-national retailers including Amazon are promoting sex with children should be enough for a public outcry, boycotting all of these companies, devastating their stocks, and effectively collapsing their crap peddling wares.
For Amazon to sell over 300 books, which they have, of a guide to sex with children, is enough to hold them in contempt for anything they may do valid, and to completely stop buying their products. To pander to pedophiles by book selling their sick garbage is as wrong as the pedophile themselves, by encouraging and profiting off of the sick behavior, and contributing to a culture that has no value for children, that encourages child pornography, child sex, child rape, and child sex trafficking.
Terminate all business with Amazon and other booksellers that support promoting sex with children. Keep society safe for kids, while they still have a future.
