Thinking about buying an iPad just so you can have access to watch streaming content from Netflix? Well hold off forking out $500 plus if you already have an iPhone or iPod Touch.

For those of you asking whether Netflix will be on the iPhone and iPod Touch: We wouldn’t invite you to dinner without planning to serve dessert. In other words, we’re working on it so stay tuned.”
This is great news in my opinion, but something I wonder; will the movies be streaming over the already congested AT&T 3G network or will you only be able to access Netflix content using Wifi only? I am hoping it will work over 3G so I can watch movies and TV shows anywhere without having to worry about a Wi-Fi hot spot.
Netflix charges $4.99 per month for two hours worth of streaming video or $8.99 for unlimited which includes DVDs by mail if you choose also.
