Bime and Revevol Collaborate on Business Intelligence

Google’s first global partner in Apps deployment, Revevol, and Bime are collaborating to release a unique and innovative Business Intelligence solution, delivered online, called “Collaborative BI.” “Collaborative BI” is based on business intelligence, decision making and collaborative work.

The new software as a service solution allows businesses of all sizes to grow by helping them to make the best strategic decisions.

One of the major problems with most business intelligence offerings is the high cost, putting it out of reach for small enterprises. In many cases, that means analyzing strategic data is either not done at all or done well because it is handled in-house without good tools.

“Relying on Bime business intelligence, the collaborative work of Google Apps and the decisionmaking process of RunMyProcess, Collaborative BI responds to these needs in the quickest and most efficient way possible.”

– Laurent Gasser, Revevol CEO

With the uptake of new technologies, data volume is increasing, the data is more widely dispersed and it is often more difficult to decipher, cross-reference and analyze.

Bime says their “Collaborative BI” was created when three complementary business partners got together, all three using Cloud Computing. They combined Bime’s web Business Intelligence solution with Revevol’s Google Apps collaborative workflow and the decision-making processes of RunMyProcess. The partners say their combined package offers a powerful and attractive Business Intelligence application that responds to current business needs.

The “Collaborative BI” solution allows management, financial and marketing teams to analyze the data together. The only technology needed is a standard internet connection and standard browsers, so the application can be accessed from geographically separated offices, at home, on any capable device such as a desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

One of the benefits of “Collaborative BI” for small businesses is on the cost side, because unlike traditional business intelligence solutions, unlimited read-only access within the company is included in the base cost.

“Bime has connected with Google Apps since 2007, connects to a majority of Web services such as Salesforce, as well as traditional on-premise databases. The combination of our three areas of expertise creates a very effective vertical solution.”

– Nicolas Raspal, Bime founder

We Are Cloud, the creator of Bime, is a pioneer in SaaS BI. Bime is the result of four years of R&D by a team of BI experts and computer science PhDs.

The company says their software connects to all the necessary data sources, enables sophisticated analysis through its unique in-memory calculation engine and produces elegant graphs and charts, delivered in any Web browser.

Bime has received praise from the French Ministry of Research, Forrester Research, Alltop, EuroCloud France and thousands of French and international users. Their customer list reads like a who’s who of companies, including Shell, Arcelor Mittal, Pitney Bowes, Bowen Craggs, Dana Communications, Hexapage and many other companies, large and small.

Revevol has been a Google Enterprise Partner since 2007 and a Google Apps Authorized Reseller since 2008, the only Google Excellence Partner in the Eurozone. In less than three years, the French company has become multinational, developing expertise with over 150,000 Google Apps accounts deployed worldwide.

It will be interesting to watch the uptake and reach of Bime, over the next 12 months.
