Amazon Launches New iPhone App That Offers Price Comparisons & 1 Click Buying

Right in time for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Amazon launches a new App called Price Check which is a free iPhone App that can instantly find the item you are looking for in the Amazon Marketplace and let you purchase it with one click.

There are several ways you can use this app to search for products while you are on the go:

  • Amazon’s barcode scanner – Simply scan the items barcode and the app will search for the item in Amazons Marketplace
  • Take a photo of the item and match the photo to books, DVDs, CDs, and video games (more categories coming to this feature soon according to Amazon)
  • Voice recognition – Say the name of the item and the app will search for it
  • Type it – Type out the name of the item you are looking for

    Items will be displayed by prices sorted from lowest to highest and will also show if the item is available for free shipping.

    With Amazon Price Check, you will have access to customer reviews; sharing via Twitter, Facebook, text message or e-mail link; and immediate purchasing using 1-Click ordering and Amazon Prime.

    The app is free and now available for download in Apples App Store.
