APMIC Doubles Growth, Strengths Presence in Taiwan, and Expands Globally

In 2024, APMIC’s annual revenue more than doubled, surging 119% compared to 2023. The company’s customer base has also steadily increased, surpassing 1,100 clients as of August 2025. This remarkable growth underscores the strong market demand for on-premises AI solutions and the strong trust in APMIC’s enterprise customers.

According to Verified Market Reports, the on-premises AI platform market is projected to grow from $1.5 billion in 2024 to $4.7 billion by 2033, exhibiting a 15.5% CAGR from 2026 to 2033. North America alone is expected to capture 42.7% of the global market share by 2026. APMIC entered the U.S. market in 2024 and appointed Ian Chen as the General Manager of U.S. operations in August 2025. Ian will be responsible for spearheading growth and developing strategic partnerships in the North American market. Looking ahead, APMIC will continue to increase its global footprint, with plans to establish offices in Japan and Southeast Asia and grow its customer base by 160% by 2027.

“As governments prioritize investments in sovereign AI, on-premises AI deployment has become an undeniable global trend. The foundations we’ve built in Taiwan, from both a technology and market perspectives, serve as a stepping stone to the international growth,” says co-founder and CEO Jerry Wu. “With our initiatives now underway in the United States, Japan, and Southeast Asia, we will continue to strengthen the strategic positioning of on-premises AI—empowering enterprises and governments to securely harness this new technology even in highly sensitive, tightly regulated environments, and to transform it into a driving force for business innovation and industry advancement.”

PrivStation: A Trusted On-Premises AI Platform Combining Rapid Deployment and Specialized Model Development

According to KPMG’s AI Quarterly Pulse Survey: Q2 2025, concern over data privacy has surged from 43% to 69% within a single quarter, making it one of the most important factors for enterprises when selecting technology providers. APMIC’s PrivStation is an on-premises AI platform designed for highly data-sensitive industries, such as manufacturing, government, finance, and B2C services, that also offers the flexibility to develop custom models on demand. Nearly 100 enterprise clients have already signed up for the first round of testing.

For the financial sector, PrivStation can integrate internal knowledge bases and compliance protocols to deliver real-time, accurate product explanations, workflow guidance, and regulatory recommendations. PrivStation also powers Taipei City Government Department of Land Administration’s “Hi Landy” Pre-Sale Home Contract Q&A chatbot, introducing AI-based recognition and regulatory interpretation features. Supporting both voice and photo queries, Hi Landy has already been used over 500 times in one month, demonstrating PrivStation’s real-world impact.

PrivStation comes with NVIDIA® NIM™ optimized inference models, combining Visual Language Models (VLM) and Multi-Modal RAG technology. It can process Word, TXT, PDF, HTML, and various image formats, and offers enhanced handling for complex PDF tables to ensure the completeness of knowledge management and application.

PrivStation is designed to address industry pain points with three core solutions:

  • Transparency and Compliance – Solves the AI “black box” problem by providing responses with original document references and annotations for full traceability.
  • Low-Barrier Integration – Combines the intuitive no-code platform CaiGunn with the PrivAI API toolkit, enabling deep integration and secondary development without steep technical requirements.
  • Cost-Performance Balance – Offers an all-in-one appliance with three-tier GPU options (NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000, H200, DGX B200/B300) to help enterprises optimize performance while managing costs.

APMIC co-founder and COO Arthur Chang stated, “In response to the global wave of sovereign AI, governments and highly regulated industries worldwide are imposing increasingly strict requirements on data privacy and compliance. With PrivStation, sensitive data is truly retained on-premises, enabling enterprises not just to passively chase technology but to securely and controllably harness AI— tuning it into a critical driver for business growth and industry transformation.”
