An announcement has been made today about a negotiation between Steelcase and Lab Crafters for an alliance between the companies. This will give Steelcase new abilities to meet the needs of their customers for product solutions in a wide range of laboratory settings.

The center of Lab Bench is a structural module that can combine into benches of almost any length and configuration. In the beginning, Lab Bench was developed for the bioscience market, including biotechnology, pharmaceutical and other healthcare markets. For years, Steelcase created laboratory solutions, including the product of Lab Bench, which can also be used for several higher education scenarios as well as the food and electronic industries.
Starting today, both Steelcase and Lab Crafters will be making a complete range of products throughout the United States — including Canada and Mexico.
