Art Meets Architecture

Curated by Lisa Aimes of Art Meets Architecture, the board of the Fine Arts Building selected fine artist Caryl M. Christian Levy for the March 2014 installation in the buildings’ lobby. The Fine Arts Building will also proudly be hosting the Artist Reception to be held on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 6-8pm.

Monotypes: The Vestments Series

Caryl M. Christian Levy created this body of work acknowledging the power of her foremothers and influenced by Matisse and her world travels. Her work includes elements of painting and collage that are combined through a printing process known as monotypes. A monotype is a one of a kind print typically on paper and is produced as an original work instead of an edition.
