The beautiful Olivia Culpo, Miss Universe USA, was crowned Miss Universe 2012, at the conclusion of the revitalized Miss Universe Pageant.
During the media conference, Mr. Trump hailed Miss USA, Olivia Culpo for her endeavors and using her title of Miss Universe as a role model for other young ladies to be productive.
According to Trump, when he first got involved in partnering with the Miss Universe Organization it “was a sick puppy.” Mr. Trump however saw its potential to guide it to where it is today.
Donald Trump Arranges NBC Partnership
As 50% owner with The Miss Universe Organization and his partnering with NBC proved to make this 2 hour broadcast a world wide success with a viewership of approximately 1 billion.
Celebrity Scene spoke to Donald Trump, who also enjoys being in Las Vegas, and has his own property, Trump Towers, with his friend Carl Ikon. Las Vegas is the best place for this international competition, The Miss Universe Pageant.
A recent TV interview with Carl Ikon on The Ralston Report, revealed that there is a party interested in bringing gambling into Trump Towers. This could possibly, in the next few years, add a convention area for perhaps the future of Miss Universe. Only time will tell on that matter.

Judges for the competition included Pablo Sandoval, two-time World Series Champion and MVP with the San Francisco Giants; Nigel Barker, Photographer and host of Oxygen’s new series The Face; Diego Bonela, singer and actor best known for his starring role in “Rock of Ages” film; Scott Disick, TV Personality from E Network; Brad Gorishi, celebrity Stylist and Star of Bravos “It’s A Brad Brad World”; Chef Masaharu Marimoto, Star of Iron Chef and Award Winning Chef; Ximona Navarette, Miss Universe 2010 and Face of L’ Oreal, Claudia Jordan, TV and Radio Personality and competitor in the upcoming series All Star Celebrity Apprentice, Kerri Walsh Jennings, three time US Olympic Gold Medalist in Beach Volley Ball; Lisa Vondercamp, Star of Bravos hit series, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” and new series “Vanderpump Rules” 90 countries and territories from around the world competed in the categories, swimsuit evening gown, and personality interview.
A very humble Miss Universe 2011, Leila Lopes of Angola, crowned her successor at the conclusion of the Miss Universe pageant. Miss Philippines, Janine Tugonoa, will assume the duties of Miss Universe if the titleholder for some reason cannot fulfill her responsibilities.
Miss Universe Guatemala, Laura Godoy Calle, received the Miss Congeniality Universe Award and Miss Universe Kosovo, Diana Avdlu received Miss Photogenic Universe Award.
