Who am I, Where did I come from, Where does this life lead too, and the big one, What is the purpose of life? These questions have been asked of every generation of mankind.
We live in a world of great mysteries and magic, that cause men to wonder, search and try to put together the puzzles of life.
We search the earth hoping to find a piece that can answer our questions. Science, mathematics, quantum physics, astrology, archeology, geology, and the whole world of science, do not answer these questions but just seem to confuse the issues.
The Darwin Theory
Bill Nye the science guy like Charles Darwin tells people he has the answers. We just happened, we are a fluke, and we exist because of the process of evolution.
If we just happened by a freak of nature or a fluke, which are both accidents then why are we searching for the answers? This theory is that just a theory.
A theory is defined as a plausible or acceptable explanation, a judgment or opinion about any given subject, meaning it is not absolute truth.
We should always remember this definition when we read about the scientific answers of life or if we watch the history channels documentary’s telling us about how the world was made.
People who work trying to find the answers to these great questions stumble over the obstacle that stands in the way of their answers. This obstacle is their pride and it is a giant obstacle that seems to trip most scientific discoveries. It is known as a theory, but they think it is a fact.
Religious people also have the same obstacle in their path because theories are just opinions. So why must we continue to cast shadows on the path of life instead of lighting the shadows of time with truth? Can anyone prove their theories?
Truth is Light
Science tells us the earth is billions of years old, 4.5 to 4.6 Billion was the latest calculation I believe. There have been civilizations of human type species on the earth for hundreds of thousands of years.
Several types of species have been recorded and lived and pasted into the shadows to time, earth’s history. Giant animals Dinosaurs walked the earth 65 million years ago and lived for a few thousand years and we find their bones in our museums of natural history across the nation. That is a fact.
Is there a conflict between science and religion?
If one takes the fact the bible is the only answer to the earth’s history it certainly indicates they do conflict. But if the Bible only tells us of this our generation of humans which is about 6000 year old then we have no conflict what so ever. There is physical evidence that man was here before Adam and Eve. There is evidence man lived 11,000 years before Adam.
How long did it take for the earth to be created?
The bible says 6 days and on the 7th day the Lord rested from his labors. The next question is, was the earth made in mans time or in God’s time? Is God’s time the same as man’s time?
The fact is time varies in different places in the universe. Quantum physics and Einstein theory of relativity proves this to be a fact.
Albert Einstein made this statement. “Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind.
Jeremiah 4:23-28 tells us something about the creation and what happened once upon the earth. If we study carefully with other scriptures we see truth in the scriptures that were not seen before by the masses.
This world we live upon has been around for a very long time. Darwin is right about the process of evolution to a degree, but not about man coming from monkeys. The world is difficult enough to understand without Bill Nye recreating the theory of evolution.
Aliens on Earth
There are no aliens in flying saucers and no aliens built the pyramid of Egypt or those in South American and Mexico. They were built by those who inhabited the areas where they are viewed today.
This planet has existed longer than 6000 thousand years and will probably existed for many more years to come. It seems strange God would build such a beautiful planet just for one generation of man to live upon and then destroy it after they are gone.
Does God tell us something with this commandment and seemly common sense evidence?
We look into the heavens and see millions of stars and realize God’s creations are many and we are not alone in this universe. What else and who else lives on other planets?
Would God allow others who live and interfere with our time and station on earth?
No, He is our God and no other God is allowed to interfere, if there are other gods. He states this very clearly, “Thou shalt have no other god’s before me.”
Religion relies on faith and science relies on fact. Can faith and fact co-exist? Yes they can and to the faithful comes knowledge because of their faith. Knowledge is faith in action and that is a fact.
We are here to develop faith that will help us gain the knowledge that will lead us to return to our parent’s homes in their mansions on high. The Lord tells us to “know the truth and the truth will set you free.”
Truth is found by searching and prayer. God will answer and reveal the truth even to science. Albert Einstein knew there is a God.
