Telomerase Enzymes – The REAL Fountain of Youth?

There’s a lot of talk and interest today about anti-aging and recapturing our youth. It’s certainly not hard to find a multitude of information online about the latest “fountain of youth” in a pill, cream or potion.

With the abundance of online information and claims of anti-aging products circulating, it can be a daunting task to sift out the hype from the scientic facts. While doing such recent online research, I had discovered some startling information.

My research lead me to specific information concerning cell regeneration and more specifically what is known as telomerase enzymes. Some scientists and researchers are claiming that the fountain of youth actually exists in this enzyme called telomerase, which was discovered back in 1985 by three scientists, Carol W. Greider, Elizabeth Blackburn and Jack Szostak, subsequently earning them a Nobel Prize in 2009. Ok, this is key. These scientists have solved a major problem in biology: how the chromosomes can be copied in a complete way during cell divisions and how they are protected against degradation. When I read that this discovery was made by well respected scientists, and the fact that it is the foundation behind a product claiming to reverse the aging process, I definitely waned to learn more!

In order to understand just what a telomerase enzyme is, it is important to understand how each and every one of us ages over time. When cells reproduce and regenerate over time they become shorter and shorter, thus every one of our cells has a definite capability to reproduce itself-but only a limited number of times. Every cell in our body has an “end” or “tail.” How long this tail is will determine how frequently that cell can effectively reproduce itself. The shorter the tail(or telomere), the fewer times it will reproduce effectively. This happens with every cell in our body and over time, as we age, the shorter the tail becomes.

Telomerase can compensate the shortening of the tail, by providing replacement DNA to the end of the cell which in turn enables cell division to continue . In other words, the enzyme prevents the telomere from shortening. What this means essentially is that we now may have a new breakthrough in the anti-aging industry. While there are traditional dietary supplements such as vitamin E, fish oils, and wheatgrass that for quite some time have been touted as valuable supplements to slow the aging process, there are now widely available telomerase products that are synthesized in lab using live cell cultures.

This is great news for the millions of everyday people searching for solutions on how to stop the aging process! In fact, our society is so obsessed with the search for the ‘fountain of youth’, those who can afford it are paying upwards of $25,000 a year–or more, for procedures such as hormone therapies, DNA analysis, and anti-aging cosmetic surgeries. That’s all well and good, but not all of us can afford the luxury and expense of these anti-aging procedures normally reserved for celebrities and the ultra rich. So how are the rest of us supposed to take advantage of this scientific breakthrough?

Well, as could be expected, someone has come up with an affordable solution for the rest of us. This breakthrough discovery and the incredible power behind it, has been harnessed into what many are claiming to be the biggest developement ever in the anti-aging process. This new telomerase enzymesupplement, RENEUVE (pronounced “renew”) is a revolutionary anti-aging product formulated to “roll back” the cellular aging process and radically alter the way you physically look and experience life. RENEUVE is the product of groundbreaking research from Phoenix Research Institute, LLC. Using today’s most current technology including a 2-stage process to extract critical anti-aging telomerase enzymes and peptides from the cellular infrastructure of select glandular tissue.

RENEUVE anti -aging supplement delivers the exact enzymes that degrade past your 25th birthday. According to those fortunate enough to have tried this product, it’s just like bringing a dying plant back to life with just some water and fertilizer. RENEUVE is the “water and fertilizer” that your cells need to flourish.

RENEUVE is taken orally every 6 months. You can drink the product right from the bottle, or mix it into your favorite beverage. Sounds simple enough. But, does this product live up to these claims? Well, if the science behind this product is not enough, you can and should read what others are saying about it. You can read further information on RENEUVE, and discover what many others are saying about this breakthrough anti-aging supplement .
