The Fight Over The Future of Marriage Exploded Today From Coast-To-Coast

The fight over the future of marriage exploded today from coast-to-coast when activists are using destructive social agenda on both California and New York residents. The Alliance for Marriage is asking Congress to enforce the Marriage Protection Amendment.

“The national scope of the assault on our marriage laws is the reason the Alliance for Marriage drafted the federal Marriage Protection Amendment” stated president-founder Matt Daniels. “As the judicial destruction of marriage in California is exported across state lines – to New York and soon to other states — AFM’s Marriage Protection Amendment is the only viable democratic option to allow the American people to protect marriage for the sake of our children.”

The AFM is a non-political, multicultural league whose Board of Advisors include the Rev. Walter Fauntroy, the former DC delegate that helped organize the March on Washington the late Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and several civil rights and religious leaders and national legal experts.

“Most Americans”, Daniels said, “believe that gays and lesbians have a right to live as they choose, but they don’t believe they have a right to redefine marriage for our entire society.

“Americans want our laws to send a positive message to children about marriage, family and their future.”
