The Hicks - a new situation comedy pilot

You Tube comes of age. Veteran independent TV show producers now create pilots and test using the You Tube audience to evaluate winners for possible shows.

A case in point is The Hicks.

This 11 minute pilot looks inside the southern born and bred household of Vern, Violet, and their young and beautiful daughter Lola Hick (played by Crystal Hunt) before and during the time they are uprooted and forced to relocate to New York City to support Lola's developing television career...
