And, The Winner is ... Passport to Adventure

By Alan Gray, NewsBlaze

The contemporary Millennium Center overlooks the old Cardiff docks, where Welsh coal was once shipped to the world.
The long-running travel-adventure television series, Passport to Adventure, has been awarded the Visit Britain travel journalism broadcast award for their episode "The Magical Country of Wales", now airing on PBS stations across the country.

Passport to Adventure was selected from 19 entries representing the Travel Channel, PBS, CBS, the History Channel and others.

The program is filmed in High Definition and features a look inside Welsh culture with visits to a vintner, cheese maker and whiskey distiller, as well as adventures hiking spectacular coastline, cruising picturesque canals, and cycling country lanes.

The Passport to Adventure series is currently airing on PBS stations nationwide in the U.S. and will launch on the Travel Channel U.K. in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East in April 2008.

DVD copies of the Wales program are available on the Passport to Adventure website: www.PassportToAdventure.com
