Iran Blames Israel and US for Bombing Iraqi Mosque

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad continued his verbal assault against Israel and the US, following the bombing of The Golden Mosque in Samarra, Iraq.
In a speech broadcast live on Iranian state television, Ahmadinejad said "These heinous acts are committed by a group of Zionists and occupiers that have failed. They have failed in the face of Islam's logic and justice."
"But be sure, you will not be saved from the wrath and power of the justice-seeking nations by resorting to such acts," Ahmadinejad said as thousands of supporters cried out "Death to America" and "Death to Israel."
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also blamed America and Zionists for bombing The Golden Mosque. No group has claimed responsibility for the bombing, but Shiites groups are believed responsible for the retaliatory execution-style deaths of many Sunnis.
Since being elected president in June, Ahmadinejad has challenged the world by announcing Iran's intention to develop nuclear capabilities, ordering the removal IAEA seals on equipment at three sites and started enriching uranium.
His outburst is the latest in a series of propaganda attacks on Israel and the West. In October last year, Ahmadinejad declared that "Israel must be wiped off the map." In December, he denied the Holocaust ever happened and in January, after Arial Sharon suffered a massive stroke, the Iranian Students News Agency reported Ahmadinejad said "Hopefully, the news that the criminal of Sabra and Chatilla has joined his ancestors is final."
