Man City and Fulham The Only Victors in Tuesday’s Premiership Games

In Tuesday nights Premiership games Manchester City continued their fight for that illusive fourth spot after a 2-0 victory at home to Bolton. Star man Tevez opened the scoring after thirty-one minutes when he converted a penalty won by Johnson, and Adebayor doubled up with just under twenty minutes to go when he latched onto a great through-ball from debutant Vieira.

Portsmouth held Sunderland to a 1-1 draw at Fratton Park. Bent opened the scoring on twelve minutes for the away side but a last ditch, stoppage time equalizer from Dindane saved the day for Pompy. Three men saw red in the game with Rocha being sent off early for Portsmouth before Cattermole and Meyler followed him later on for Sunderland.

Wigan were also held to a 1-1 draw at home to Stoke with goals from Scharner and Sanli whilst Fulham thrashed Burnley 3-0, with Murphy, Elm and Zamora all on the scoresheet.
