On Wednesday this week, the House Homeland Security Committee finally approved a border security bill. This bill allocates $15 billion in funding. $10 billion for a border wall and $5 billion for ports of entry. In addition, there is money for 5,000 agents to support ports of entry and the border. There are additional agents for the Border Patrol and Customs and Border Protection agencies.
Recognizing that border protection places heavy reliance on the states, they allocated $35 billion to reimburse states for use of their resources.
So it appears that President Trump’s wall is finally on the calendar. Many Trump supporters voted for him in part because of his promise to stop the unfettered flow of illegals across the southern border.
It is known that Mexicans aren’t the only ones crossing the southern border. Obama and the democrats purposely didn’t do anything about the flow, even though they knew there were also terrorists crossing the border too.
The Atlantic wrote a story about Donald Trump’s plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border. Hillary Clinton recently made the wild suggestion that walls are useless against today’s borderless threats. So her solution is to not bother, and allow anyone to breach the country’s security. She is oblivious to the fact that border walls are going up around the world faster than icecream melts in summer.
Hillary Clinton wasn’t the only one. Both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama hit out at Donald Trump. All three are trying to tell Americans that Trump and Republicans are wasting their money. Of course, they are only preaching to the converted, democrats. Trump supporters voted for Trump because of the havoc Democrats created. They not only left the borders open, but invited illegals to breach the country’s security.
The Clintons, Obama and other Globalists don’t want any borders. But people everywhere who have seen massive dislocation and inflows of the enemies of freedom have other ideas.
The Atlantic wrote, “Globalization has gradually produced a desire in parts of the world for separation, particularly after traumas, including the 9/11 attacks and the global financial crisis, exposed the hazards of freewheeling integration. And separation is increasingly being achieved through physical barriers.”
Increasingly, the people countries around the world want to keep out are muslim invaders. We have seen what happened in Europe. Muslims enter countries, do not integrate, use resources, and demand resources without contributing. Around 25 “fortified boundaries” have been built since the year 2000.
Wall builders are becoming more ambitious. The walls are longer, stronger, and more hightech. They need to be. It can be clearly seen that the quality, strength and efficacy of a wall makes a big difference when leaders push illegal immigrants out. They can’t get back in.
Donald Trump staked his campaign on walls and trade barriers. Hillary Clinton called for tearing down barriers. Americans don’t want to open up to illegal invaders or to nefarious felons. That is part of the reason Hillary Clinton lost the last election. And still she wonders, “What Happened?”
The lesson here was well stated by former California Congressman, Brian Bilbray. He said, “The fence sends a very clear message to everyone, before they even try to cross the border. Don’t come here the wrong way. If you want to come to America, come here through the gates.”
Donald Trump understands that message. Clearly, the Clintons, the Obamas and Democrats don’t care about illegals who die trying to cross. Neither do they care about hundreds of thousands of Americans who suffer at the hands of criminal aliens.
