MSNBC’s Chris Matthews: Master of the Obvious

There is a feeding frenzy going on that the American people should be aware of. The liberal media is eating its own.

What started as stark revelations about the perverted behavior of Hollywood movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, one of the liberal elite, has now reached epidemic proportions. Even the biggest of the big mouth liberal apologists, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, has joined the fray.

Chris, with the flapping mouth that makes you wake up screaming, said on Saturday that elitist attitudes may very well have cost the Democrats the presidential election. Really Chris?

Yep, and he named names. Those attitudes were expressed by none other than former President Barack Obama and failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. They are partially responsible for driving working white voters to vote for President Trump according to opportunist Matthews.

Matthews is the host of MSNBC’s low-rated “Hardball.” He told a crowd at Florida’s Miami Dade College that past comments made by Mr. Obama and Mrs. Clinton had alienated white working Americans to the max. His obvious revelations should have stunned the captive audience. Looking at the video, they were completely silent. It was hard to tell whether they were too stunned to make a sound or if it went in one ear and out the other.

It is now part of history that Hillary Clinton piously labeled half of Donald Trump’s supporters as a “basket of deplorables” in a speech during her campaign. But Chris wasn’t through eating his own. He went on to say that President Obama infuriated the right when he criticized working-class Midwest voters as bitter Americans who “cling to guns or religion.”

Between his prophet-like reflections as a non-apologetic far left zealot, he talked up his latest book, “Bobby Kennedy: A Raging Spirit.” The late senator from New York would be ingratiated to know Chris admired him as a man with “genuine empathy and ability to relate to the everyman.” Clearly something Chris has never put on his bucket list.

Matthews continued to press the obvious to the small gathering of his reflections. He conceded the Democratic Party is in desperate need of a empathetic leader like Robert F. Kennedy to run against Mr. Trump in 2020. Apparently the likes of 76-year-old socialist Bernie Sanders, the defeated Hillary Clinton or the ever-outspoken Elizabeth Warren do not fit the bill. Did he not consider the ever-groping hands of Joe Biden?

Nevertheless, Matthews is a master of the obvious. The Democratic bench is virtually empty of any legitimate presidential contenders. Their sole message is their hatred of Donald Trump without an ounce of the usual topics such as the economy, wages or the common American’s daily life. Funny, those are the very items Matthews accuses Hillary of forgetting.

Chris summed up his bashing of his own by tearing into House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. “The other day when Trump came out with that tax bill of his, Pelosi said, or was it Chuck Schumer, it doesn’t matter who reads this stuff, it’s the same words, ‘It’s a Ponzi scheme.’ Oh, you original little person,” Mr. Matthews said.

The titan of bad ratings at MSNBC seems to be tired of his liberal pals. And after they read his speech, there may be no TV sets tuned to his show. He bade farewell to his bored minions by saying, “I am so tired of these people. Say something human. Say something that means something to you. Relate to people about what this tax thing will mean to their lives. They don’t even bother. It’s too much work. They’re too busy raising money, kissing ass, which is what they do.”

At least that statement generated six seconds of applause. The audience knows their party is falling apart, playing stupid political games. They won’t change sides, of course, but they know the party leaders have nothing going on.

These were wise words from a man who has also alienated most thinking Americans. But more than likely fearing he stepped over the line with his liberal handlers, he added, “We do not have unity because the person at the top wants division.”

Atta boy Chris. You have always been most comfortable blaming everyone else. Maybe you redeemed a flicker of TV screens in the dimmest and the dumbest homes of America.
