Liberals Are Proficient at Altering the Facts

It’s important for all thinking Americans to understand the mind of a liberal. Their ideology can be far different from that of mainstream citizens. Although there are hundreds of examples of their departure from the truth, certain topics have a head-turning effect.

For instance, liberals view Christopher Columbus as a tyrannical conqueror of native peoples. They attribute his “discovery” of the new world to easily be the most disastrous event in world history. There is little proof of that assertation, but that does not dissuade “a progressive.”

They believe the founding pilgrims came to what is now America intent on wiping out the native Indians. Confederates in the Civil War had no justifiable cause for their actions and were merely guilty of slavery alone.

Ku Klux Klan

After the Civil War with the rise of the Ku Klux Klan, Democrats were blameless in its key role in American history. Rather today, in their minds, it was essentially a derivative of the Republican Party and its key role in the aftermath of the war.

These are factual moments in American history that have been written about for centuries. Yet the liberal mind has twisted those facts to suit their purpose and their plea to the base voters of the Democratic Party. Unfortunately, this sort of propaganda has become a staple in most public schools and universities throughout the U.S.

Jim Crow Laws

The list is long and arduous concerning the liberal revision of American history. They blame Republicans for the enactment of Jim Crow Laws in the South. It is not true, but nevertheless they persevere knowingly. It is as if they possess a magic wand to change the truth into their own designs like a child would. Unfortunately, they have a following that will believe whatever they are told.

They say increased minimum wage disproportionately affects minority and low-skilled workers. A law that was originally enacted to promote the hiring of first time job seekers is now being transformed into a living wage by liberals. It is the law that now propels robotics and the decrease in small businesses.

Government Handouts Breed Dependence

Using that mindset, the liberals feel they are solely responsible for the victory over their mythical war on poverty. In fact, dependency on government to raise people above the poverty line had been going down for years before the war on poverty began. The reality is handouts don’t breed self-sufficiency. Handouts breed dependence. Jobs actually kill poverty.

The frightening aspect of all this is our nation’s school system and liberal academia. It is engulfed in this new interpretation of the facts. There should be no surprise that many Americans are now fighting back. The real surprise is the liberals are surprised.
