Liberal Corporations Control America’s Media Sources

It is important for Americans to understand the news sources they regularly access to obtain information in their daily lives. Without opinion or bias, processing where this comes from helps enable citizens to discern the validity of that narrative.

There are approximately 1500 newspapers, 1100 magazines, 9000 radio stations, 1500 television stations and 2400 publishers in the United States of America. Of those various facets of the media as a whole, the majority are owned by six corporations.

GENERAL ELECTRIC: Comcast, NBC, Universal Pictures and Focus Features

NEWSCORP: Fox (soon to be Disney), Wall Street Journal (Soon to be Disney), New York Post

DISNEY: ABC, ESPN, Pixar, Miramax, Marvel Studios

VIACOM: MTV, Nick Jr., SET, CMT, Paramount Pictures

TIME WARNER: CNN, HBO, TIME, Warner Bros.

CBS: Showtime, Smithsonian Channel, NFL.com, Jeopardy, 60 Minutes

That is the lay of the land in terms of the national media. Here are some interesting sidebars to this corporate world that most Americans are unaware of. You may find it a bit more revealing than the left’s attempt to paint the Trump administration with Russian collusion.

  • ABC News executive producer Ian Cameron is married to Susan Rice, Obama’s former National Security Adviser.
  • ABC News correspondent Claire Shipman is married to former Whitehouse Press Secretary Jay Carney
  • ABC News and Univision reporter Matthew Jaffe is married to Katie Hogan, Obama’s former Deputy Press Secretary.
  • ABC President Ben Sherwood is the brother of Obama’s former Special Adviser Elizabeth Sherwood.
  • CBS President David Rhodes is the brother of Ben Rhodes, Obama’s Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications.
  • CNN President Virginia Moseley is married to former Hillary Clinton’s Deputy Secretary Tom Nides.

This is but a tiny fraction of the inner-relationships this monopoly of America’s media breeds. Does it promote bias and one-sided narrative? In certainly suggest an incestuous relationship.
