The left are losing their collective minds over President Trump’s opportunity to nominate a new Supreme Court Justice. Not that one has been announced yet, but nevertheless they are starting early. Trump will announce his selection on Monday at 9 am (EDT).
Like small children, the left has collected their marbles and are not allowing others in their party to speak. Those who are moderates remain silent as the uncontrollable hysteria of so-called “progressives” rages on.
This is how livid they have become in their 24/7 non-stop mindless resistance of the president for whatever he does or says. Justice Anthony Kennedy has retired from the bench at the age of 82, but to liberals he is “a sell-out.” Apparently, he was to remain on the Court until he was physically or mentally incapacitated.
It is not what they want, so it’s marches and declarations of this or that on their familiar sounding boards of CNN and MSNBC. The fact is they are shaking in their collective boots as they come to realize they have absolutely no power left in political America.
They have lost the Senate, House, presidency, appointment of federal judges and now the Supreme Court vacancy. Not that this is some revelation in American history, but for the diaper crowd, they stomp their tiny feet.
They parade around the talk shows espousing what good liberals do; rants. They have no ideas about taxes, foreign policy, the environment or anything else. All they have is hate Trump and hate Trump only.
When the vacancy announcement was made late last month, you would think it was a return to the Dark Ages. Mind you, no selection has been made, but unless it is their hero Barack Obama, it won’t matter if it’s Elmer Fudd; they’ll hate the choice.
But during these tantrums that seem endless on the nightly news, something else is going on. Americans are watching with a sickening feeling that the Democratic Party is literally unraveling. From the likes of Rep. Maxine Waters and her angry tirades to an apparently clueless Nancy Pelosi, there is no real leadership (adults) anywhere in sight for the more moderate Democrats. They have been hijacked by lunatics on a suicide mission to destroy any chances the party has in November.
What once was prognosticated to be “a blue wave“ in the fall now looks more like “a red tide.” Is there someone within the party ranks that can stop the madness before it is too late? At this point, even Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) looks like a moderate if you can imagine that! Chuck is smart enough to get out of the way before they burn his house to the ground.
The entire scene looks like something out of pre-WWII Germany. The only outrageous thing left for “the progressives” to do is burn books. Don’t be surprised if it starts on Rachael Maddow’s show at MSLSD.
Leading the charge of the young and crazy is first-term Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA). She obviously has her sights on the presidential nomination in 2020. Don’t laugh, Barack Obama had only two years in the Senate before he cast his line into the 2008 presidential race.
She is full of intelligent remarks such as, “We’re (apparently Americans?) looking at a destruction of the Constitution of the United States, as far as I can tell, based on all the folks he’s (Trump) been appointing thus far for lifetime appointments.” Huh?
It gets better. “We (apparently you and I again) cannot relent, we’re going to have to fight to the end to make sure that we (there’s that “we” again) can do anything and everything that is possible to require this president to choose a consensus pick. Talk to Democrats.”
Actually, no thanks Kamala. I can only imagine what your idea of a consensus pick would be. The mob doesn’t rule this country by force of their will. I think it’s time for the moderate Democrats to either step forward, switch parties or sit back and roast hot dogs over the ashes of what was once a proud political party.
Consensus? That would be most Americans who would not think of voting for anything with a “D” next to the name on their November ballot.
