ISIS Promise to Slaughter Americans on Election Day

ISIS disappeared from the presidential candidate’s topics the last ten days of the election, but they are definitely out there. One day after US intelligence sources warned that Al-Qaeda may be preparing for potential terrorist attacks in New York, Texas and Virginia, on Saturday the Islamic State called for the “slaughter” of U.S. voters on Election Day.

Going further, if that is not enough, they demanded that Muslims not participate in the democratic process because “there is no difference between the Republican and Democratic parties,” in their “policies against Islam and Muslims.” The seven-page manifesto, entitled “The Murtadd Vote,” read, “May Allah make this year’s U.S. presidential election a dreadful calamity like no other to have struck America throughout its pathetic history.”

For Americans who actually care, Murtadd is an apostate who turns his back on Islam. The essay, which uses lengthy religious arguments in an effort to justify such attacks, declares there is no difference between the Republican and Democratic parties in their “policies against Islam and Muslims”

For those tuning into this situation, it’s not just Russian President Vladimir Putin who is trying to disrupt the presidential election. Meanwhile, federal authorities are reviewing information about the above mentioned potential interest by al-Qaeda to conduct attacks in the U.S. on the eve of Tuesday’s elections, several federal and state law enforcement officials said Friday.

No specific information on the possible form or targets of attacks has been announced by the terrorist organization. In an FBI statement Saturday, an official said, “The counterterrorism and homeland security communities remain vigilant and well-postured to defend against attacks here in the United States.”

The wildest and most unpredictable presidential election in American history is one day away. May God look over the United States of America.
