Christine O’Donnell has everyone’s attention now. Why?
Christine O’Donnell is proof that we live in a voyeuristic society; she is the center of attention by both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party. I can’t imagine any other reason why she is getting so much attention. The republicans defend her only because she is one of theirs. Democrats have made her an ongoing joke.
Besides all of that stuff, which by itself lends a look at her brain’s limited capabilities; we also have all the other stuff, you know, the stuff that politicians should know….. Like the constitution and past Supreme Court decisions. She recently admitted to not knowing that the First Amendment separates state and church and not knowing the 14th and 16th Amendments. I’m not surprised since she has already admitted to not knowing anything about taxes because it’s difficult.
So, why are we following her around? Oh, yes, it’s fun, it’s fun to watch people who are ignorant and uneducated make a fool of themselves. I think part of us also wants to let the people who follow her know that they still have time to learn from HER mistakes and start thinking with their fully functioning human brains.
