Biased Coverage of Trump by Hysterical Media Overwhelmingly Negative

The majority of the hysterical mainstream media have carried on their own personal vendetta against President Trump for years. He does not fit the liberal mold they envision as the future of the country.

The subject provides lively debate for those who wish to cover their biased tracks. But a new study from a reputable research company proves otherwise.

The Pew Research Center looked at thousands of media reports covering Trump’s first three months. The conclusion of slanted “journalism” is obvious.

  • 62 percent of stories had a negative assessment, with just 5 percent positive
  • 20 percent of the stories in President Barack Obama’s first three months were negative
  • 28 percent of the stories in President George W. Bush’s first three months were negative
  • 28 percent of the stories in President Bill Clinton’s first three months were negative
  • 56 percent of stories about the Trump administration appearing in media outlets with a left-leaning audience were negative, compared to 14 percent in media outlets with a right-leaning audience

66 percent of all news stories regarding the Trump administration were about five topics:

  • Political skills (17 percent)
  • Immigration (14 percent)
  • Appointments/nominations (13 percent)
  • U.S.-Russia relations (13 percent)
  • Healthcare (9 percent)

Pew is not the only research outfit to come to similar conclusions. It would include a Media Research Center study that concluded the three major broadcast networks’ coverage of the Trump administration was 89 percent negative.

When Jim Acosta, the CNN White House representative asked Sarah Sanders why the President was tweeting about the media, he got an answer he didn’t like. Ms. Sanders gave him a big list of positive news that Americans care about, but that CNN ignores. Sanders suggested that CNN publishes mainly negative news, 95% of their coverage. Only 5% of their stories were positive, but there is a lot more positive news than they report.

That’s why many people now say that CNN is the least trusted name in news, and it is the reason their ratings are down.
