Obama ‘Very Open’ to His Endorsement of Hillary Clinton
Finally, President Barack Obama unveiled his favorite nominee for the coming US election. And it is no other than his former Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.
In a video on Thursday, Obama said “I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office.”
The first joint appearance with Clinton and Obama is scheduled for next Wednesday in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Obama and Clinton: Fierce Competitors to True Friends
In a phone interview with POLITICO on Thursday, Clinton said “Obama has been very supportive to me throughout this campaign.”
And that she is grateful for Obama’s endorsement.
She added that “we went from being fierce competitors to true friends.”
The former Secretary of State said she is looking forward to be with Obama for the rest of the campaign period.
Obama for months has signaled his support and favor for Clinton. But now, the US president is more open about it.

Obama Eager to Campaign for Hillary Clinton
After massive support from delegates on Monday for Clinton, Obama became more vocal for his eagerness to campaign for Clinton.
In a video released by the Clinton campaign, Obama expressed his excitement to campaign for Clinton.
“Look, I know how hard this job can be. That’s why I know Hillary will be so good at it. In fact, I don’t think there’s ever been someone so qualified to hold this office,” Obama said.
Obama even expressed optimism that Clinton has all the talent to get the job done. And he says Clinton’s passion to serve the American people is genuine too. That’s why he is supporting her.
“Even after our own hard-fought campaign, in a testament to her character, she agreed to serve her country as Secretary of State.” – Obama
No mention was made of the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails.
