Things are not looking good for Hillary Clinton as the FBI criminal investigation continues. The presidential candidate and Democrat front-runner is still being investigated by the FBI over her private email server usage.
Right now, she should be worried, unless she has an ace up her sleeve. On Saturday, the rumor was that the FBI will turn over the criminal investigation to the grand jury.
According to Fox News, as each day passes, it becomes more likely this will happen. The daily revelations and media leaks are not just eye-opening, they are jaw-dropping.
FBI Criminal Investigation Has Help
One of those jaw-dropping revelations was that Bryan Pagliano, the webmaster who set up Hillary’s personal email server was granted immunity from prosecution by the Justice Department. He had earlier pleaded the fifth in his FBI interview. This is not new news, of course. It is a few weeks old now, but what is new is that informed sources say Pagliano is now providing the FBI a road map on the use of the server.
An unnamed intelligence source told Fox News that IT specialist Pagliano is a “devastating witness.” Fox reported, “Bryan Pagliano is a devastating witness. His importance to this case cannot be over-emphasized.”
Black storm clouds are gathering and the FBI’s ongoing criminal investigation is casting a very dark shadow over Hillary’s presidential campaign.
IT Specialist Cross-Referencing Emails
Apparently Pagliano’s cooperation with the FBI has allowed them to cross-reference emails with other evidence that will help pinpoint potential gaps in the record.
Fox News says their unnamed source told them, “Don’t forget all those photos with her using various devices and it is easy to track the whereabouts of her phone,” the source said. “It is still boils down to a paper [chase]. Did you email at this time from your home or elsewhere using this device? And here is a picture of you and your aides holding the devices.”
Despite what Pagliano says and the records actually show, Hillary has repeatedly said she neither sent nor received any material that was marked classified at the time she was using the email server. She said the classification of email is based on content rather than markings.
Focus on 22 “Top Secret” Emails
Whether what Hillary says carries any weight remains to be seen. What we have heard is that FBI focus is on the 22 “top secret” emails the Administration deemed too damaging to national security to publicly release.
Pagliano isn’t the only one FBI investigators are talking to. Agents are also speaking to Clinton staffers, including former chief of staff Cheryl Mills.
The Fox News source apparently said, “Mrs. Clinton sending [the emails] in this instance would show her intent much more than would receiving them. Hillary Clinton was at a minimum grossly negligent in her handling of NDI (National Defense Information) materials merely by her insisting that she utilize a private server versus a U.S. government server. Remember, NDI does not have to be classified.”
No Right Wing Conspiracy
None of that sounds good for Hillary on a personal level, and she can’t blame the FBI criminal investigation on a “vast right-wing conspiracy.” She brought it all on herself. There is no chance at all that Bernie Sanders is going to shut down his campaign, no matter how many delegates Hillary scoops up.
