All thinking Americans should realize the issue of tearing down and destruction of our nation’s monuments is much bigger than it appears. There is much more being destroyed in the supposed act of political correctness. Those are code words for a more basic word; intolerance.
This country is subjected daily to sound bites on the news. The truth is we as a people are allowing the camel to come right into the tent.
What is the end game these liberal hate groups really seek? What is the ultimate end game?
The left, or their official name(s), Antifa, Black Lives Matter, MoveOn.org and the hysterical media and all-self-righteous politically-correct people use the excuse of removing what they call racially charged monuments as a run-up to their real goal. They will tie the Founding Fathers to slavery, thereby advocating that the Constitution was written by white supremacists.
Their goal is to invalidate the Constitution as a document, designed to benefit only those with “privilege.” Therefore, the Constitution must be rewritten to be more inclusive to gays, blacks, Muslims, illegal immigrants, etc.
This new Constitution must punish those who they say have wrongfully profited from their privilege for the past 250 something years. Their rights must be curtailed to make things equitable for “everyone.”
In reality, what they want is socialism. Actually, communism, but they believe it’s really socialism. Anyone who disagrees is obviously racist and doesn’t want the country to be fair to everyone.
Removing history is just the start on their road to equality. We better wake up to what’s really happening under the guise of removing the offensive past. If we sit back and watch, we may lose all the freedoms we hold dear to us.
We as a people must have the courage to withstand an onslaught from the media and even the political elite. We must act soon or watch America as we know it disappear forever.
The targets of the left are political parties, religion or anything else. We are Americans and the history that brought us here, both good and bad, is our history.
