Salman Pak, Iraq – Company B, 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division soldiers visited the town of Salman Pak, Iraq, 25 miles southeast of Baghdad for a humanitarian mission. U.S. medics assisted Iraqi medical personnel, to deliver free medical screening for local residents.

The U.S. soldiers delivered toys and soccer balls for the children.

BAGHDAD – Iraqi Army Soldiers help assemble a wheelchair during a combined humanitarian mission, in the town of Salman Pak, Iraq, 25 miles southeast of Baghdad. U.S. Paratroopers assigned to Company B, 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, teamed up with their IA counterparts to provide much-needed goods to the town’s residents.

Iraqi soldiers and Paratroopers teamed up to provided school and recreational goods to the area’s citizens. U.S. medics were also on hand to assist Iraqi medical personnel during a free medical screening for local residents.
