The Daily Caller Shatters Traffic Predictions

The Daily Caller has shattered all traffic estimates in its first 10 months since launch. By October, The Daily Caller, a 24-hour online news publication, reported that monthly unique visitors exceeded expectations by more than 100%. The Daily Caller also saw more than 7.5 million page views from visitors in October alone. Traffic for the third quarter, running from July through September, surpassed well over 1.5 million unique visitors per month.

It turns out that original reporting pays off

“It turns out that original reporting pays off,” says Tucker Carlson, Editor in Chief and Fox News contributor. “We couldn’t be happier.”

The Daily Caller has become a national news leader and continues to expand in coverage and viewership after breaking multiple national news stories to date, including the JournoList expose series, exclusive Tea Party coverage, and the Republican National Committees excessive spending saga.

“With over 3,200 articles published since launch, we’re writing exclusive content that’s enveloping a huge range of topics. Our strong numbers show that there’s a real need for a news company who will take risks by reporting the stories that other outlets have chosen to not cover,” says Neil Patel, Publisher.

The Daily Caller’s significant online presence has been augmented by a robust social media presence and appearances on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Fox and Friends, National Public Radio and numerous other outlets.

Founded by Tucker Carlson, a 20-year veteran journalist and Fox News contributor, and Neil Patel, former chief policy adviser to Vice President Cheney, The Daily Caller is a 24-hour news publication providing its audience with original reporting, thought-provoking commentary, and breaking news.
