The I’VE SEEN FILMS International Film Festival was founded by Rutger Hauer and it aims at promoting on a world-wide basis the works of filmmakers desiring powerful exposure and visibility to their films.

The “I’ve Seen Films” Festival stands out among other film festivals because the film authors are able to watch their works in a big theater screening room where films are screened in a masterfully digitalized version thanks to the very meticulous attention always paid to the theatrical presentation of the competing works. This professional approach to the screening quality allows a superlative high-quality video definition which, during the past editions, gathered enthusiastic praises from the audience and film authors alike.

‘I’ve Seen Films’ provides a unique platform for up-and-coming filmmakers to demonstrate their artistic capabilities and for the public to recognize their talent. A prestigious Jury of internationally-known film experts enhances the complexity and uniqueness of this Festival.

Furthermore, in an agreement between “I’ve Seen Films” and Microcinema Digital Network, the films of the international film festival founded by Rutger Hauer are screened in theaters by satellite.

One of the initiatives of this International Film Festival is the Internet Contest organized in cooperation with CortoWeb. In this way, “I’ve Seen Films” offers film authors an additional exposure to their works: the 2009 edition online competing works, from 70 countries, received a staggering number of more than 1,500,000 views.

For all the competing film authors, in the true “I’ve Seen Films” tradition, the Award Evening will evolve into an unforgettable moment that makes them the real protagonists of the Festival.
