Nandrolone Phenylpropionate is Being Used to Fight Major Battle against Breast Cancer

Nandrolone esters, including nandrolone phenylpropionate (NPP), have been used with varying degrees of success to treat a variety of conditions, including osteoporosis, various anemias, wasting disease, unexplained weight loss, AIDS, major burns, and more. One of the other conditions they have been used to treat over the years is breast cancer.

Nandrolone phenylpropionate must be taken through injection into muscles to be effective for these uses. While many physicians have made the move to nandrolone decanoate for longer-lasting effects and greater usefulness. Nandrolone phenylpropionate was such a widely preferred choice for treating breast cancer and osteoporosis in women because of its reduced androgenic effects.

What this means is that treatment with NPP has a reduced propensity for causing “masculine” side effects common with anabolic steroids, like voice deepening and promoting facial and/or body hair growth. But, like most anabolic steroids it is effective for promoting an overall increase in muscle mass, which makes it a fast favorite among bodybuilders using the product for off-label purposes.

How is Nandrolone Used to Treat Breast Cancer?

When used to treat breast cancer in women, nandrolone is injected weekly, initially, then stepped down to every other week, then every third week as treatment progresses. Physicians will work closely with their patients to find the best possible treatment for advanced breast cancer, which may include a combination of nandrolone and cyclophosphamide, depending on the situation. Some studies, suggest, though, that it may be better to use cyclophosphamide alone for the treatment of cancer in advanced stages rather than combining the two.

Some women prefer to skip the risk of potential nandrolone side effects, which include things like: edema, insomnia, bladder irritation, clotting suppression, jaundice, weight gain, and more. These are in addition to the usual hormonal side effects that make anabolic steroids unattractive to many women at times when they may be struggling with fears regarding their femininity.

For women who do choose treatment with nandrolone, it is important to consistently monitor liver function, cholesterol, urine and serum calcium levels, CBC, etc. and intake sufficient iron to maximize the response to the nandrolone injections.

Breast cancer is the one cancer many women fear more than all others. It attacks at the point of feminine identity for many women around the world. Drugs, like nandrolone allow women to take the fight to breast cancer, giving them a feeling of power in this struggle against an enemy they can’t see.
