Jose Eduardo Cepeda Luna, 57, and his son Cesar Eduardo Cepeda, 34, are both dead after a driver struck them while they stood outside their vehicle on State Road 836. Police discovered that Cesar had lost control of his vehicle, pulled off to the side of the road, and called his father for help. They were struck by what may have been a stolen Camaro.
After the accident, the drivers of the Camaro stole Jose’s vehicle and drove off in it. The owner of the Camaro wasn’t able to alert police who was driving the vehicle at the time of the hit and run, but provided them with information about anyone who may have had access.
