Obama Knowingly Lied About The Affordable Care Act

A new video has surfaced regarding the now infamous MIT Professor Jonathan Gruber, the primary architect of Obamacare. Gruber has been roundly criticized by politicians and the media, as well as ostracized by the embarrassed White House, over his candid comments concerning the validity of the Affordable Care Act.

The newly uncovered video shows Gruber admitting that President Obama knew it was going to be a problem and conspired with the other planners to lie about it to the American people. The professor was interviewed by PBS’s “Frontline” on June 13, 2012 where he told the interviewer the president had been personally present at a meeting in the Oval Office along with several health “experts.”

The topic of the meeting was to figure out a way to get credible savings on cost control that the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) would recognize and score as savings in this law. This all being conjured up while the entire group knew it was an outright lie.

During the “Frontline” interview, Gruber said directly, “The next time I see him (the president) is summer 2009. The big issue there is that he really wants to make sure I’m moving forward on cost control. I think that at this point, he sort of knew we had a good plan on coverage, but he was worried on cost control. So we had a meeting in the Oval Office with several experts, including myself, on what can we do to get credible savings on cost control that the Congressional Budget Office would recognize and score as savings in this law.”

If this can all be confirmed, it is definite grounds for impeachment and/or grounds for dismantling the healthcare law by the Supreme Court. One way or another, it appears there will be congressional hearings on the matter and Gruber will be forced to testify.

But the professor wasn’t through talking with the “Frontline” people. He continued, “And that was a meeting … it was very exciting, once again, because the economists in the room all said the number one thing you need to do is you need to take on the tax subsidy to employer-sponsored insurance,” Gruber said. “We need one minute of background on this. The way employer-sponsored insurance works is, if you get paid in wages, you get taxed. If you get paid in health insurance, you do not.”

At present, it appears that President Obama was at the center of the deception and many will have to perjure themselves to refute it under oath. Whatever else comes about with these revelations leaves one thing certain; the Supreme Court is watching TV too.
