Joe Biden Writes a ‘Cheesy’ Fundraising Letter to Big Donors

One of the best assets for republicans is not actually a republican. Not even a conservative. It is … Joe Biden, the man with permanent foot-in-mouth disease. Every time he opens his mouth he swaps which foot he puts in it.

Cheery Joe recently sent out a fundraising letter to Democrats. It wasn’t a happy letter. Rather, it was doom and gloom.

The letter went something like this:

Dear friend, the world is crashing around us. We’re in big trouble. We could lose. Send money, we really need it.

Joe doesn’t know the meaning of morale.

“We could lose” Biden told the hapless Democrats who received his fundraiser letter. He warned the Democratic donors that he wanted them to dig deep into their pockets because he will need major amounts of their cash to avoid a “Ted Cruz-like Senate filled with Tea Party Republicans.”

What was interesting is the theme Democrats have chosen in the first quarter of 2014. Joe Biden apparently thinks fear is the message for traditionally lackadaisical Democrats in midterm elections.

Humans can be motivated by a number of things. One is fear, and that is what Joe Biden chose to motivate his liberal cash cows. It wasn’t just a single statement “We could lose.” Biden really laid it on thick, like a half a jar of peanut butter on a sandwich.

His mailer went on, “If we wake up on Tuesday and find out we came up short, we’re in bad shape for November, that is not hyperbole. Losing will mean more senators like Ted Cruz, and more Tea Party Republicans in the House.”

Those democrats are either shaking in their boots, sitting in the corner crying or just shaking their heads, wondering how the party could let Joe loose, to write such pessimistic letters.

With 47 million people on food stamps, and probably most of them democrats, Joe is hoping there are enough wealthy Democrats remaining to fill the DNC’s coffers?

Paul Bedard of The Washington Examiner says Biden’s doomsday propaganda is amusing. He thinks Democrats will have a big problem scaring up real cash this time around.

The Tea Party says Republican gains in the House of Representatives in 2010 changed the political landscape, and predict more gains in the House and a good chance of gaining a Senate majority too.

Congressional gridlock is not good for anyone, so many are hoping the midterm confrontation of the two parties will end it.

It is expected that tension between moderate Republicans who have allowed Obama to get away with too much, and conservative tea party members will intensify as the GOP decides on their 2016 presidential nominee.

Democrats have their own divisions – and in the case of Joe Biden, clowns – and they will divide between the moderate left and extreme left in their party. Even so, the big money is all on Hillary Clinton to take the nomination handily.

It is expected that Hillary won’t have Joe Biden copywriting her campaign letters.
