Has Someone Shut Al Gore’s Opportunistic Mouth

The news from NASA will not please climate change activists. They think the deep ocean may not be hiding heat after all. A whole new set of questions were raised by the US space agency Monday.

It is true the media is ever-so-slow to cover positive news about the earth’s climate since it does not fit their liberal agenda. But scientists have noticed that while greenhouse gases have continued to rise since 2000, the global average surface air temperatures are not rising along with them, according to NASA officials.

In fact, several studies conducted by NASA strongly suggest heat is being absorbed, at least temporarily in deep seas. In layman’s terms, the so-called global warming hiatus is a temporary trend being exploited by the far left as a political tool. Has anyone heard from Al Gore, the Al Sharpton alarmist of the climate change industry lately?

Data from the latest satellite and direct ocean temperature measurements, beginning in 2005 and up to 2013, have “found the ocean abyss below 1.24 miles (1,995 meters) has not warmed measurably.” It’s a given that these surprising findings have scientists baffled. How is it the far-left is so certain?

Co-author Josh Willis of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) was quoted as saying the reality of climate change is not being thrown into doubt, but “The sea level is still rising. We’re just trying to understand the nitty-gritty details.” It’s an interesting observation from a learned scholar on the subject, as opposed to the hysterical left’s Chicken Little act and doomsday prognostications. Why is that?

The apparent slowdown in the Earth’s surface warming in the last 15 years could be due to that heat being trapped in the deep Atlantic and Southern Ocean, according to the journal “Science” last August. Once again, a dichotomy with the bullheaded and fact-less far left hysteria.

One NASA official summed up their findings by saying, “The combination of satellite and direct temperature data gives us a glimpse of how much sea level rise is due to deep warming. The answer is – not much.”

What will Michael Moore and Al Gore do now to make a living? The operative words are “blindly refute.” Al Gore may hold a press conference at his multi-million dollar estate located 20 feet from the ocean’s edge in Santa Barbara, CA. Can anyone say “hypocrite?”
