She noted the United States hopes that the new leadership of the DPRK will choose to guide their nation onto the path of peace by honoring North Korea's commitments,
She stressed there's a need to test the proposition that North Korea is ready to do the right things, to take the right pre-steps, so that they can begin to contemplate an eventual return to the Six-Party Talks.
She noted it's very important to emphasize that in U.S. dealings on the issue, in particular with the DPRK, both countries stress the importance of the North-South dialogue.
He stressed that they we will go back to capitals and consult further and the two delegations will be in touch with one another through what is called the New York channel, that is the DPRK Mission to the United Nations.
