FAIR OAKS’toberfest Returns to Sacramento for Another Great Year

The founders and organizers of the West Coast Brew Fest which just had it’s seventh and most successful event in May, are bringing to the people of the greater Sacramento County and beyond the second annual FAIR OAKS’toberfest.

The festival is to be held on September 30, 2006 in beautiful Fair Oaks Park. The event benefits the Fair Oaks Recreation Foundation which creates recreational programs for youth and other Fair Oaks area residents.

According to Matson Breakey, co-founder and marketing director, “the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District heard about the success of our famous West Coast Brew Fest in Sacramento’s Miller Park and asked if we would be interested in bringing a similar event to their community. Of course, we were happy to work with them on a new, seasonal concept.”

Like the West Coast Brew Fest the event will feature unlimited tasting of over 60 types of beers, great seasonal foods available from local vendors, and of course, live music and dancing.

Oktoberfests are well known around the world for celebrating great beers of the season and the organizers of the FAIR OAKS’toberfest promise not to disappoint. “While we don’t expect to keep with a traditional Germanic theme, we do plan to have great foods and beers to match the season,” said Matson.

With breweries represented from all over the world, the event promises to be the next great success for Sacramento’s self appointed Brew Fest Kings.

The event is on Saturday, September 30, 2006, from 1pm to 5pm, in Fair Oaks Park at the corner of Madison Ave and Fair Oaks Blvd, in Fair Oaks, California.

Entertainment includes live music by local bands.

Tickets are $20 per person, on the day of event, or $18 of you pre pay, $5 for 16-20 year olds and designated drivers, free for those under 16. Tickets are available at local breweries and on the web at www.fairoaksbrewfest.com
