Brooke Turner Transforms with Brilliant Debut R&B EP

Brooke Turner Turns To R&B

Brooke Turner, once renowned EDM artist has now ventured into the world of R&B. Her Debut R&B EP is a wistful reminiscence of lost love. It spans from the fresh excitement of new love through to realization that maybe the love you once thought was there was never truly.

The four song EP will take you on the full cycle of a relationship. From the melancholic melodies to the poetic, anecdotal lyrics, Turner’s “Why” has a song relatable for everyone.

OOH: Ooh is the happy love song singing of a “breezy,” easy going relationship; one of trust and exhilarating newness.

Co-produced by SYRUM and Rufus Phillips. Written by Brooke Turner and Benofficial.

Take You There: Written from a more lustful, saucy perspective, Take You There will take you to another world, or as the song states to other galaxies.
Produced by SYRUM. Written by Brooke and Benofficial.

Too Much to Ask: Too Much to Ask is the song that really wrenches your heart strings. It’s a song pleading her love to open up with her and allow himself to fall in love instead of holding pride above his heart. “Boy if lovin’ you’s wrong I just wanna be right for the moment. I know you’ve gotta be strong, but if you love me don’t be too proud to show it.”
Co-produced by SYRUM and Rufus Phillips. Written by Brooke and Benofficial.

Why: Why is the song where the rose-coloured glasses have fallen off, or in this case shattered and the true colours of the relationship are brought to their full vibrance. “you paint the story of our future on glass, illusions of what could be. But then with one slip of the tongue you shattered them before my eyes until only shards remain.”
Co-produced by SYRUM and Rufus Phillips. Written by Brooke Turner and Benofficial.
