It is the month of love and the month for loving. Many people love to watch movies, because it can be one of the most romantic ways to spend time together on a special day, with someone we love.
Here are the must-see movies for this week, some with video trailers. They include “Fifty Shades of Grey” and “Kingsman: The Secret Service.”

BIG BUDGET FILMS
Fifty Shades of Grey is a screen adaptation of E.L. James’ steamy romance novel. It revolves around the sadomasochistic adventures of a literature student, played by Dakotta Johnson. She comes under the spell of a wealthy businessman, played by Jamie Dornan. Among the supporting cast are Jennifer Ehle, Luke Grimes and Rita Ora.
Fifty Shades of Grey is rated R for profanity, graphic sexuality, frontal nudity and perverse behavior.

Kingsman: The Secret Service is an espionage thriller based on The Secret Service, a comic book series. Colin Firth plays a suave veteran spy who recruits a promising young protege, played by Taron Egerton. His aim is to help thwart a twisted tech billionaire’s diabolical plot. Samuel L. Jackson plays the billionaire, and the supporting case includes big names, Michael Caine, Mark Hamill, Sophie Cookson and Mark Strong.
Kingsman: The Secret Service, in English, Arabic and Swedish with subtitles, is rated R for profanity, sexuality and graphic violence.

INDEPENDENT & FOREIGN FILMS
Crazy Bitches is a horror comedy about seven sorority sisters whose weekend getaway with a gay pal (Andy Gala) to a remote cabin in the woods is ruined by the arrival of a bloodthirsty psychopath who proceeds to pick them off one-by-one. Co-starring Samantha Colburn, Cathy DeBuono, Liz McGeever, Victoria Profeta, Guinevere Turner, Nayo Wallace and Mary Jane Wells.
Crazy Bitches is Unrated.
Da Sweet Blood of Jesus Spike Lee directed this horror flick ostensibly inspired by Ganja & Hess, the 1973 horror flick revolving around a doctor, played by Stephen Tyrone Williams. The doctor becomes consumed by a thirst for blood after handling an ancient African artifact. The ensemble cast includes Zaraah Abrahams, Rami Malek, Joie Lee, Felicia “Snoop” Pearson and Elvis Nolasco.

Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem Ronit Elkabetz portrays the title character in this Israeli drama as a miserably-married woman dependent upon a rabbi’s approval for a divorce from her reluctant spouse , played by Simon Abkarian. The supporting cast includes Menashe Noy, Sasson Gabai and Rami Danon.
Gett: The Trial of Viviane Amsalem, in Hebrew, Arabic and French with subtitles, is unrated.
Girl House (Unrated) Slasher flick featuring a college coed (Ali Cobrin) who starts stripping online for an X-rated website to pay her tuition only to find herself being stalked by a deranged fan. Cast includes Adam DiMarco, Alyson Bath and Alice Hunter.
Girl House is unrated.
The Last Five Years Screen adaptation of Jason Robert Brown’s Off-Broadway musical of the same name deconstructing the failed marriage of a promising novelist, portrayed by Jeremy Jordan and a struggling actress, portrayed by Anna Kendrick. Their supporting cast includes Meg Hudson, Natalie Knepp, Cat Lynch and Ashley Spencer.
The Last Five Years is rated PG-13 for sexuality, brief profanity and a drug image.
Old Fashioned is a faith-based romance drama revolving around a reformed party animal, portrayed by Rik Swartwelder. He decides to remain celibate while he dates his impatient new neighbor, played by Elizabeth Roberts, who might be Ms. Right. The supporting cast includes LeJon Woods, Tyler Hollinger, Dorothy Silver and Nini Hadjis.
Old Fashioned is rated PG-13 due to mature themes.
The Rewrite Romantic comedy revolving around Hugh Grant, portraying an Oscar-winning scriptwriter. After a divorce and a series of flops, he abandons Hollywood to teach college in upstate New York where he falls in love with Marisa Tomei, one of his students. She is a single-mom trying to make her own fresh start. The ensemble cast includes J.K. Simmons, Allison Janney and Chris Elliott.
The Rewrite is unrated.
What We Do in the Shadows Horror comedy, set in New Zealand, revolving around the trials and tribulations of four vampires, portrayed by Taika Waititi, Jemaine Clement, Jonathan Brugh and Ben Fransham. The vampires share a flat in a city inhospitable to the undead. With Cori Gonzalez-Macuer, Jackie van Beek and Stuart Rutherford.
What We Do in the Shadows, in English and German with subtitles, is unrated.
The Worst Year of My Life Romantic dramedy about a down-on-his-luck, just-dumped, depressed dude, portrayed by Trevor St. John David. His road to recovery involves online dating and living in his car. Cast includes Brandi Posey, Nicholas Tucci and Amy Vorpahl.
