Ice-T Talks Iceberg Slim: Portrait Of A Pimp: Rapper turned actor both on the big and small screen Ice-T phoned in to Arts Express from LA to talk about his latest film which he co-produced, the documentary Iceberg Slim: Portrait of A Pimp. But that is likewise the culmination of a lifelong obsession and fascination with the late convict turned prolific author.
Ice-T also mulls current and future directions in his music; his own two cents about how he feels rap isn’t fulfilling its potential to help change the world; and finally how he sees himself, as ‘a happy dude with a few gray hairs, but I still see the fire.’
