Sweet Potatoes With Barbeque Sauce a Delightful Treat!

Date:

After learning I might be a Celiac, I’ve been making foods which were gluten free. I’ll be honest, I’m dying to eat a big bag of Doritos or pig out on some doughnuts.

So today I wanted some sweet potatoes. Now I love them. They have low GI and there pretty awesome but my version makes them even more delicious.

Simply grab a bowl and add some ground pepper and salt (not rock salt).

Then add a good size tablespoon size of BBQ sauce and ketchup

Then add more pepper and salt and mix till blended.

Then grab your potatoes and peel them in strips so you have some of the outer skin and some peeled skin so it looks stripped, then wash.

Now first see how they sit on the counter you want to make sure they balance perfectly and don’t move around.

Then using a brush to spread the BBQ mix on one side of the potato. Then leave standing up so the non touched mix is on the bottom and the BBQ mix is on top sitting still.

Give around 35-40 minutes to cook until extremely soft like when you stab at them its slides in no effort!

Serve with steak or anything else. Bon appetite!
