Renee Fishman, originally from New York, started out with what is referred to 'the doll house,' their main dining room. Soon after, various businesses left over the years, the cafe expanded to what is now 3 cocktail lounges,
We started our dining journey to Italy. Beginning with the appetizers, we ordered Bruschetta Al Pomodoro, consisting of chopped tomatoes, basil and garlic on toasted Ciabattabread. We also ordered a Classic Caesar Salad with chicken and shrimp.
The restaurant has a view of the bay. There's also a huge convention area upstairs for special events and there's Killer Shrimp Cafe next door, serving breakfast until 1pm everyday.
I ordered Lobster Bisque soup which is prepared daily with lobster bits. Wow, for $8.95 that's a whole meal. It's enough to easily feed two. Sometimes my eyes are bigger then my stomach.
This restaurant is owned and operated by Kurt Ehrlich and Emil Hormozi, who is a world renown furniture designer. Chef Ehrlich began his career in the culinary arts in Europe.
