Fairy Tale Stories on The Decline

Has the fairy tale lost its relevance in teaching good rules of social conduct and self preservation or has it run out of pages?

A student’s view:I hate fairy tale stories to be fair. They are full of crap. They don’t interest me at all. I don’t understand the point for most of them. I see them as literary torture as I call it. That’s all I have to say on that really. I was never really touched by a fiction. It was never really engaging.

Fables are useless. Being an atheist, I won’t glorify religion. I will say that if you want to live morally, it is a good source to get your lesson from that stuff.” -Ben Hassan, Roehampton Student.

A Famous Author’s view:

After all is said and done, more is said than done. – Aesop

My view:

My only wonder is this, is that the same proverb being implemented today? Talking about a proverbs and its good value in life lessons, it is useless if we don’t practice it. Religion is no different. To quote the bible James 2 v26 says, for as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

The continuation of my post apocalyptic version of J. M. Barrie’s master piece, I call it Peter Pan 3080. Enjoy

The lost boy lay upon the silver cabin floor unconscious, leaving their captain to fend for himself.

Once again Peter would duel with Captain Hook and this time Captain Jack of HMS Beanstalk and ‘Little Red’ the riding hood phantom and her werewolf sidekick would not be there to help him.

Hook got up and climbed over the limp bodies that were Peter’s comrades. His eyes were glowing blood red. Peter knew what was coming next.

Peter grasped his throat, choking on thin air. Hook’s telekinetic powers had somehow been restored and he tightened his invisible grip on Peter’s feeble neck.

“Listen, we can work something out,” Peter managed to splutter. Hook walked closer to him. His boots clicking like cowboy boots. Hook was face to face with Peter. Peter noticed just how craggy his face was. It was like a bad mosaic. “No, no, no Peter…it’s far too late for that…,” Peter gulped.
