Farm to Market Ecommerce Service Opens Largest Online Wine Market

North America’s fastest-growing farm-to-market ecommerce service, AgBASE.com, just launched the largest online wine marketplace. The new AgBASE ecommerce service benefits consumer and wineries, giving wineries wider reach, and better visibiity in the market. Consumers benefit by the much wider choice of wine.

The new AgBASE.com ecommerce system is easy to use, allowing shoppers to quickly find local, regional and national brands of wine. The search feature on the home page allows searching by variety of wine, by winery or by location.

Wineries that already have an online store in California, Oregon, New York and Washington can be quickly located on the AgBASE.com home page. Wine prices run from less than $10 to around $100 per bottle.

Based in Wenatchee, Washington, AgBASE, Inc. is a rapidly-growing global corporation that operates a farm-to-market ecommerce service to support the direct marketing of food and complementary products.

The new ecommerce system allows wine buffs to learn about and discover different wines and foods at a fair prices, the CEO says. Buyers can connect with local artisan growers and producers and valued added resellers at a fair price because the system reduces transaction costs.

On the supply side, the current focus for AgBASE is the North American online food and beverage marketplace but customers, vendors and contract employees can be anywhere in the world with an internet connection and a delivery point. Currently, that means more than 100 countries around the world. Farm to market is a growing trend.
