Comey Is Gone And The Next Target May Be Hillary Clinton

While the left wing of the Democratic Party cries foul over the firing of FBI Director James Comey, one Democrat is very unhappy for good reason. That would be former presidential candidate and Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

It has long been said that Comey protected Clinton from much of her wrongdoing with the personal server, et al. Although the hypocritical Democrats who once loathed Comey now cry politics with President Trump, Hillary may have lost her shield from prosecution for the many crimes levied against her.

It was a tumultuous week.

james comey is gone, after missteps.
James Comey testifies.

So first we had President Donald Trump firing his conflicted and very political FBI Director James Comey earlier this week. Comey overstepped by acting as investigator and prosecutor, instead of passing the case to DOJ. Naturally, all the Trump-hating left that once hated Comey for “spoiling” Hillary’s election, now foam at the mouth and feign anger for his firing by the more-hated Trump.

hillary clinton.Meanwhile, Hillary may be looking at travel brochures as the last vestige of her political protection is sent packing. It can be assumed the next FBI director will not be a fanboy of liberal Democrats or Hillary in particular. There are many legal minds in Washington that believe Clinton got away with national security crimes and prison.

Comey was working on a probe of Russia’s alleged involvement with the Trump campaign. The FBI Director was a hero of the left, but not one shred of evidence was found. In the mind of today’s ultra-liberal, that is merely a nuisance the media arm of the Democratic Party can handle for them. Such is the hypocrisy of the left.

But now it is a new day at the FBI and Hillary Clinton knows it. All of her running around badmouthing the FBI may be coming home to roost with the unexpected departure of Mr. Comey. Since she considers herself the “leader of the resistance” against her old nemesis who beat her out for the presidency, guess who may be scalp hunting?

The FBI could once again be free to open up their investigation into the corrupt and incorrigible Hillary Clinton. So says Brian Weidner, a veteran former FBI agent. He suggested that both Hillary’s overall case and the outrageous immunity deals could be “revisited.”

That is code for “shoe is on the other foot” time. The prospect of new leadership at the FBI could hold implications for the ‘closed’ Hillary Clinton email case. As Weidner said, “I would be surprised if they did not review all the investigations regarding HRC and come up with a conclusion regarding prosecution. The statute of limitations hasn’t come into play yet,” he said in an email to Fox News.

There shouldn’t be any worry about the immunity deals struck with the supporting actors in the Hillary drama. They are safe from prosecution, but the reasons they got such deals without testimony of any sort is fair game.

However, if anyone who received immunity did not live up to their agreement, like Huma Abedin with the classified documents on her computer, the deal is off and they are still potential targets. Huma and friends could end up singing like canaries if the thought of federal prison looms in their future.

Unlike the alleged Russian meddling in the election gaining zero traction, obviously a political ploy, Hillary’s situation is very real. Clinton’s time as Secretary of State was marred by scandal, corruption, and leaked evidence of a pay-to-play scheme.

Since it would seem the far left wants to play political hardball with Trump until the cows come home, Hillary is an obvious target for the Republicans who hold two of three branches of the government. One wouldn’t realize that, with nearly 100 percent negative coverage Trump and Republicans receive on a daily basis.

Now, with Comey out, it may be high noon for the self-appointed “resistance leader” of the Democratic Party. Her former boss may have something to say about that if Hillary starts to think the south of France looks pretty good.
