Will Roberts is a trick-roping American cowboy, performer, humorist and social commentator whose radio show exposes us to a lot of laughs each week. He is very good at showing us that the King has no clothes, and his style is in the mold of Will Rogers – he does it very well.
Never one to sit still for more than a few minutes, Roberts is preparing for production of the first season of his two-minute, weekly political and social humor talk show “Will Roberts’ Weekly Telegram.”
Over the past 15 years, Roberts recreated the life of his great hero, Will Rogers, the humorist and man of the people, and now he will take that life a step further.

Do you remember Will Rogers? He was the American cowboy, vaudeville performer, humorist and social commentator in the 1920s and ’30s, who had an amazing knack for one-liners like these:
“Everything is changing. People are taking the comedians seriously and the politicians as a joke.” “A fool and his money are soon elected.” “Our foreign policy is an open book – a checkbook.” “I belong to no organized party, I’m a Democrat.” “Lettin’ the cat out of the bag is a lot easier than puttin’ it back in.”
Will Roberts is the Modern Day Will Rogers. His mission is to talk to folks, with wit and humor, about common sense – and to get people to talk to one another, face-to-face, in an era of isolation.
But, you say, we have “social media.” That’s exactly what I mean – isolation.
Roberts says common sense ain’t so common anymore, and the internationally-renowned performer and speaker, known for his high-energy, humorous and insightful content, will soon tell us all about that, in full, living color.
“Will Roberts’ Weekly Telegram” political variety radio show explores refreshingly unusual viewpoints that can be respectfully shared and explored.
Roberts has spent the last 15 years recreating the life of his great hero, Will Rogers, humorist and man of the people. In doing so, he has become known as the Modern Day Will Rogers. His mission is to talk to folks with wit and humor about common sense – and to get them to talk to one another, face-to-face, in an era of isolation.
“For the last 15 years have made it my life’s mission to get folks to talk to each other, not via texting, Facebook and Twitter, but one-to-one,” Roberts said. “I want to make a difference.”

Always one to share, Roberts’ goal is to raise $5,000 through his Kickstarter campaign by July 4, to get the production started, and you can be part of it.
Money raised from the campaign will go towards buying a high-quality HD camera, editing software and professional-quality lights, a wireless microphone system and items to make his set production-ready.

Will Roberts recently finished four years as a feature trick roper with Cirque du Soleil in a show called “Viva Elvis.” He is also a great speaker, and he uses personal stories, humor and amazing trick roping demonstrations to make his motivating keynotes useful, memorable and ultimately profitable for his audiences. He has also performed at Madison Square Garden, the Los Angeles Orpheum Theatre and the Republican National Convention.
