NanoH2O Appoints John Markovich as New Chief Financial Officer

NanoH2O, Inc., a global provider of reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for desalination, has appointed John Markovich as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Markovich is a semiconductor and cleantech veteran who was EMCORE Corporation’s CFO before he joined NanoH2O.

Jeff Green, NanoH2O‘s Co-Founder and CEO, is delighted about Markovich’s appointment. “With more than 20 years of executive-level financial and operational leadership experience with rapidly-growing public and private technology and manufacturing-based companies, John is well suited to guide NanoH2O’s accelerating growth,” Green said. “During his career, he has built numerous high performance organizations and led dozens of successful transactions including initial public offerings, acquisitions and divestitures, public and private financings and major collaborations. His experience will be

essential in managing NanoH2O’s future business.”

NanoH2O‘s nanocomposite membrane technology is uniquely positioned in the rapidly growing desalination industry,” Markovich said. “I am extremely pleased to be joining the company as we commence the worldwide commercialization of our family of seawater reverse osmosis membranes developed to improve desalination energy efficiency and productivity.”
