Researcher Develops Amazing Pen to Reduce Stress

Squeeze Your Pen For Health

But not too hard if you’re lucky enough to get your hands on the prototype or one of a new family of writing pens.

Stress Reduction Benefits

Less stress is a desire of many today. Finding methods of relieving it are easier then identifying stress. It’s tired to insomnia, bas nerves, high blood pressure, heart disease, even death.

Every day now more products become available to treat it. Better yet now an everyday tool we all use, the simple ‘pen’ can interpret now much tension you suffer.

Pen

Researcher Miguel Bruns Alonso has developed a pen which can:

Measure your stress level

React to your tension

Even help you, perhaps force you to reduce it.

What this brings to the work place is so studding these advantages go beyond today’s imagination. User stress levels of the anti-stress pen fell by an average of 5% right at the beginning.

Multiple Health Advantages

Besides making you physically better off the pen will certainly make our offices or other work places more mentally healthy. It’s nearly too good to comprehend, no more stressful long working hours that bring on end-of-day fatigue.

Burns, the inventor was recently studying “Industrial design” when he carried out various experiments that brought about realization, people tend to play with their pens in their hands.

When a user is tense the new pen check nervous movements then responds to being held tightly or handled roughly. With more gentle movements a stress reduction sets in and people are finding it possible to gain more control over a situation.

“Sensors in a pen can provide an unobtrusive method of measuring stress levels. Giving users the right feedback could then help users to deal with their stress in a constructive way,” says Bruns.

Each pen also provides a counterweight to these rough movements using built-in electronics and electromagnets. When it detects quicker movements associated with stress, the pen gradually becomes more difficult to move around. This encourages users to change to a more relaxed stress level after which the pen in turn yields to easier use again.

When the pen was experimentally evaluated, people who received feedback on their behavior experienced lower heart rate than those who received no feedback. Pen users experienced less psychological stress. However, neither was aware that they were actually receiving any feedback about their behavior. Both said they did not realize what their stress levels were.

Conclusion:

Normal conclusion is that products which seek to reduce short-term stress should, ideally intervene directly with a user to modify behavior, rather than warn a user about stress. That way the people can allow any product to reduce stress without interference.
